Hello ryankO9065JF, Thank you for taking a moment to provide feedback regarding your most recent stay. 15 minutes later there is a knock on the door. Front Desk radios the "guy" who will be there in 5 minutes. We come home after 10 miles of walking in 90+ degree heat to a 75 degree room that is set to 66. like he is just out and about and no job to do. As I approach I look to my left and see the doorman or valet or whatever title that has been made up and he is leaning up against the building without a care in the world. As we walk up to the hotel with our stroller there is a car parked right in front of the hotel entrance blocking the ramp to the sidewalk that is a foot above street level. CRIB = useless, dangerous, worse than nothing. Oh and they could not offer anything to protect the edges either. No way a baby can stand and play in the crib without giving him/herself brain damage. Did not even know that was law abiding these days, for all I know it is not. Picture a 1940s era crib with METAL BARS. We go to our room and wait an hour with a crying baby and nowhere to sleep. We check in and the crib that we requested 3 months in advance is "not ready". the valet or doorman or whatever just stared at us as we struggled to get in their tiny entrance. When we arrived after our 45 minute walk with 8 bags and a stroller. Easy customer service knowledge to pass on to customers. Totally unfamiliar with the area, how would we know any better. They did not bother to ask what train station and obviously we came into SOUTH Station. When I booked this hotel the person on the phone when I called them told me they were across the street from the train station. Such a bad hotel I do not know where to start. many other hotels y’all can be sure we will not be back. This is not how I wanted to celebrate my wife’s birthday. That is until we get to the cell/cave like room that has a tiny window the view you ask 2-3 feet from cement block wall and A/C units. So we go through it again and he clacks on keyboard no rooms will have to wait!? That is when the same manger type guys comes over and also clacks more on key board and says sorry here is a room with two queens. Well 5 1/2 hours later after touring the city we come back to a new front desk person who says yes our room is ready, a king with a sofa bed. In the end she got help from someone I assume was a manger who said we would get the two beds upon check in. During this process I reminded front desk person that I had requested a room with two beds. We arrived early and didn’t expect to get a room, but had to store our luggage.
